LANDSCAPE OF GIR
Hand-painted on canvas, Landscapes of Gir captures the biodiversity of the Gir Forest in a 360-degree panorama. Created in collaboration with celebrated architect Rooshad Shroff, the wall coverings depict native botanicals and birds of the forest with meticulous precision —born from months of study and research. Spanning four villas, the paintings in each showcase the forest at a different time of the day – from dawn to dusk.
Painted over four months, this large-scale project greatly influenced Basuri’s artistic perspective, deepening her connection to wonders of the natural world.
