Landscapes of Nathdwara
Inspired by Nathdwara’s tranquil landscape, this mural captures its arid beauty at dawn—vast desert expanses, sparse trees, and a quiet calm. The city’s primary deity, Krishna as Srinathji, though subtly woven into the scene, his presence pervades the canvas through delicate storytelling elements—cows trotting along ridges, lotus ponds in bloom, and a lone peacock gazing into the distance.
Blending minimalism with meaning, Basuri’s landscapes transcend mere scenery to reflect cultural and spiritual narratives. With muted tones and soft textures, Landscapes of Nathdwara unfolds like a quiet meditation—blending into the space while drawing the viewer into its stillness.
